NEW YORK (AP)—Add Gatorade to the itemize of publicity deals that Tiger Woods has lost.
A representative for the drink, oversubscribed by PepsiCo Inc., addicted New Friday that it had ended its relation with the golfer.
“We no individual see a role for Tiger in our marketing efforts and have ended our relationship,” a Gatorade spokeswoman said. “We wish him all the best.”
The spokewoman said Gatorade would move its relation with the Tiger Woods Foundation.
Gatorade interrupted its Tiger Woods-brand drinks in November, a decision made before Woods’ marital problems and infidelities became known.

I’m glad Gatorade dropped Tiger Woods. He definitely deserves to lose many of the endorsement deals he had with several companies. He is a major liability, and companies need to minimize their risks by getting rid of all ties with him.
