MILWAUKEE (AP)—The instruction that is regular to be the patron of the U.S. Amateur in 2011 and is low consideration for a U.S. Open is being oversubscribed to a Milwaukee business executive who plans to keep the sport instruction unstoppered to the public.
Andy Ziegler, co-founder and CEO of Artisan Partners Limited, has united to buy Erin Hills from Robert Lang. The care is due to close on Friday.
Ziegler says he sees the care as a quantity to provide backwards to sport in Wisconsin. Lang bought the concept 10 eld past and will meet on as a consultant.
The sport instruction unsealed in 2006. It is in the Kettle Moraine Atlantic northwest of metropolis and was titled America’s prizewinning new instruction by Golf Magazine. It hopes to realty the U.S. Open in 2017.
